These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the JK Vegies website at https://jkvegies.shop and any order you place through it. By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use this website.

2. Who may order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. You must give a correct name, phone number and delivery address, and you are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

3. Retail and wholesale

The shop has two modes. Retail is for households. Wholesale is for restaurants, caterers, shops and other businesses, and has its own prices and its own minimum quantity for each item. Wholesale prices are offered on the understanding that the goods are for business use.

4. Products, weights and prices

  • Vegetables and fruits are natural produce. Size, colour and appearance vary, and photographs on the website are for illustration only.
  • Items sold by weight are weighed at the time of packing. A small variation is normal and unavoidable; we aim to stay within about 5 percent of the ordered weight. You pay for the weight stated on your order.
  • Prices change with the market, sometimes daily. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you place it. Your order total is calculated on our server at that moment, not in your browser.
  • If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will tell you and remove it from the bill, or offer a replacement if you agree.
  • Obvious pricing errors do not bind us. If a price is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and tell you before delivery.

5. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order. We may refuse or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if the delivery address is outside our area, if we cannot verify your details, if we suspect misuse, or if there was a pricing error.

6. Payment

Orders are paid by cash on delivery, or by any other method the shop offers you directly at the time of delivery. We do not collect or store card details, UPI PIN or banking passwords anywhere on this website. Please keep the exact amount ready where possible.

7. Delivery and pickup

Delivery, delivery charges and the delivery area are described in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. One-time codes

Your order has one-time codes that confirm handover. A code is shown on your order screen and is given to the rider at delivery. Please do not share a code with anyone until the goods are actually in your hands. After five wrong attempts a code is locked and you will need to call the shop.

9. Cancellation and refunds

See our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Your conduct

You agree not to place false or fraudulent orders, not to attempt to break into, overload or interfere with the website or its database, not to copy the website or its content for a competing business, and not to use the website for any unlawful purpose.

11. Reviews

You may rate and review a completed order. Do not post anything false, abusive, obscene or infringing. We may remove a review that breaks this rule. By posting a review you allow us to display it on this website.

12. Our content

The name JK Vegies, the logo, the website design, the text and the photographs on this website belong to us or to our suppliers. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

13. Availability of the website

We try to keep the website running at all times, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of faults. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice. The shop may also stop accepting orders at any time, for example when it is closed.

14. Our responsibility

We are responsible for supplying goods of the quality described, and for problems caused by our own negligence. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or business, or for delay caused by events beyond our control such as weather, strikes, power or internet failure, or action by an authority. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other law that cannot be set aside by agreement.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hathras, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
